Pat Wertheim earned his bachelor’s degree in geophysics from Texas A&M University in 1971 and began his law enforcement career in 1973. Working crime scenes from his earliest days, Pat progressed to latent print comparisons in 1977 and first testified to identifications by 1979.
Pat began teaching latent print comparison classes in 1986. He has taught courses in 25 states, as well as in the UK, the Netherlands, the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific islands.
Pat had originally “retired” from teaching, but he is returning to the classroom for occasional courses in fingerprint comparison and testimony skills through Tri-Tech Training for the IAI. |
